This project was a joint venture between the Ontario Ministry of Housing and a non profit group based in Toronto.  It is a six storey senior citizen apartment with 175 one and two bedroom units with an attached community / recreation centre.

 

The apartment building is V shaped, wrapping  around a piazza which is the main feature of the project. This open space, above the underground parking, has benches and trees, used for social gatherings and recreation. It links the residences to the attached recreation centre on one side and a public park on the other, accessible through an open portico.
