About Us

We provide international design services through our affiliated firm, LAD Canada International.  This firm combines the professional experience of Nino Rico Architect and SCI Landscape Architects.

 

LAD Canada International expertise lies  in town planning, urban design, environmental engineering and ecological planning, representing over 50 years of combined professional practice in architecture, landscape architecture, urban design and environmental planning.

 

The firm carries the experience of seasoned professionals who have worked both locally and abroad on several award winning projects.   Recent international commissions in China include a new 3,000 residents community in a resort area just north of Beijing and two large density residential condominium developments in Hangzhou.

 

 

SCI Landscape Architects, established in 1986, specializes in urban, landscape and ecological planning, providing  a comprehensive design-management approach on open space and urban environment design, for both public and private clients.

 

The utilization of natural and cultural resources for education, interpretation and recreation has been a strong focus of  SCI landscape architects work.  Through the many years of its existence, SCI landscape architects has developed unique techniques to involve the public throughout the planning and design process During the past ten years the Company has conducted many public workshops for Streetscape and Open Space Studies for the Villages of Maple and Woodbridge, Caledon East and for the redevelopment of Lorne Park in the City of Mississauga.
