Our urban design process addresses urban blocks as well as urban districts by setting a rigorous vision which provides the base for an innovative well organized street patterns, building footprints and open space configurations. We pay particular attention in setting out specific design guidelines for building setbacks, architectural styles, massing , heights, streetscape treatment, signage and lighting, and relationship between built form and open space systems Local authorities use our work to ensure that new developments are fully integrated into the overall city’s growth vision. Ecological Planning is an activity that we provide through our affiliated firm “Lad Canada International”, as an expansion of our urban design services. Our design methodology applies state of the art ecological planning methods to protect nature and establish the most appropriate land uses and the best utilization of natural resources within new development. In this fashion, expanding communities can evolve in an adaptive and sustainable manner without altering and compromising natural features and natural, irreplaceable resources. Our services include the restoration and rehabilitation of degraded landscapes, such as channalized streams, drained wetlands, eroding slopes, denuded and contaminated soils and microclimate amelioration.
